1. Data controller

The data controller is EUROPA INFORMATICA (VAT 02757660465), which operates the inquilo service. For any request regarding your data, write to us at contact@inquilo.it.

2. What data we collect

Account data: the email and name you provide when you register.

Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive basic Google profile data (your name, email address and account identifier). We do not access any other data from your Google account.

Profile content: the information you enter to build your rental profile (for example employment situation, income, references, personal presentation).

Payment data: transaction metadata handled by Stripe (for example amount, outcome, payment identifier). Card data is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on our systems.

3. Why we process data

To provide the service: to create and manage your account, build your profile, process payment and make the final document available to you.

To send you essential service communications (for example password reset emails or confirmations).

The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you and, where needed, our legitimate interest in running the service securely.

4. Providers and processors

We rely on selected providers that process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email delivery), Neon and our hosting provider (database and infrastructure), Google (OAuth sign-in), and a large language model provider (Google Gemini) to generate profile text from the information you provide.

These providers process data only for the purposes set out above and under their respective data processing agreements.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data and profile content for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time. Payment-related data is kept for as long as accounting and tax obligations require.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to request its erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@inquilo.it.

7. Contact

For any question about this policy or the processing of your data, contact us at contact@inquilo.it.
